Stratamed for open wounds or fresh scars is a 100% silicone scar treatment. Stratamed is sterile and classified as a wound dressing. It can be applied directly over stitches, fresh burns or fresh cuts/abrasions. It dries to form a thin, flexible, protective layer that is gas permeable and waterproof. It hydrates and protects compromised skin areas and open wounds from chemical & microbial invasion leading to faster healing times and better overall scar. Best started immediately after surgery. Safe for infants & sensitive skin. Use twice daily for 14 days.

Strataderm for formed scars helps to soften and flatten raised scars. It reduces redness and discoloration and also reduces itching and discomfort. It can be started 14 days after surgery or when the wound is healed. It should be used for 60 to 90 days. Safe for infants & sensitive skin. Use once daily.

Sunscreen can be applied over either product once it dries.
