Coronavirus Update

Update April 29, 2020

Dear Patients,

We are opening Babcock Dermatology for in-office appointments. We continue to offer telemedicine remote appointments for acne, psoriasis and other issues. If you are unsure what type of appointment you need, please call our office or submit photos via our telemedicine portal on our web site and we can help determine which appointment will be best. (Submitting photos through our telemedicine portal to determine which type of appointment you need, is always free. Then if you have a telemedicine appointment it is billed through your insurance as if you were in the office.)

For in-office appointments we ask you follow these guidelines:

1) Please come to your appointment alone.
2) You must wear a mask into our office and building. Unfortunately we do not have enough disposable masks to supply you with one. We will have some cloth masks available for purchase if you do not have your own. Children have to wear masks as well. If you child cannot wear a mask please consider a Telemedicine appt as no one is allowed in without a mask.
3) When you arrive in the parking lot please call our number and we will tell you to come down. (404) 835-3052.
4) If you are coughing, sneezing or appear sick, we may ask you to reschedule.
5) Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to reschedule to maintain proper numbers in our office.

Teledermatology via Zoom Video Conference is now available!  These are perfect for acne checks, psoriasis checks, rash checks, medication refills and suspicious lesion checks. The service will be billed to your insurance company as if you had an actual office appointment.  Call our office today to schedule your Zoom Telemedicine appointment or follow the link on our website today! Unsure if you need an in-person appointment or Telemedicine? Submit your request via our website on the telemedicine link below and we will help you decide. Submitting a request is always free!
